The Applied New Testament Commentary

 

Praise the Lord for all He is doing through us.  The opening ceremony for The Applied New Testament Commentary was held on the 4th of July 2009 in the Salvation Army Church, Azam Besti, Karachi. It was really a great program and there were 10 different people who gave their comments about this Commentary. The backgrounds of these commentators were Pastors, Businessmen, a Lawyer and a retired Professor of Karachi University.

 

The bottom line of all these comments was:

 

"This book has been translated into an easy Urdu
language by Pastor Naveed Malik for all those who want to understand
the Word of God, especially the New Testament.  This is the first Commentary in Pakistani history that has 1300 pages and was translated by a man of God whose background was not Christian, but who was brought by the Lord into His sheepfold.  It is a
great gift that has been given to Urdu speakers, not only in
Pakistan but also around the world."

 

This project began in 2002 and ended July 2009, which means it took 7 years for this book to be in the hands of Urdu readers.  Shalom Ministry of Karachi was given publishing rights for the Urdu translation of The Applied New Testament Commentary.
